Hi, I am Bhavesh.

I'm a wildlife photographer and a filmmaker.

Through my work, I strive to showcase the breathtaking grandeur of wildlife as well as evoke passion for its fragile beauty that we must strive to protect.

With Brown Bear Expeditions, I wish to bridge the gap between humanity and nature by taking you on expeditions to experience the untouched wilderness and witness the life of majestic animals, fostering a deep connection and appreciation for the natural world.

My Story...

My journey from a young boy fascinated by the colourful images of wild animals in an encyclopedia gifted by my mother one Christmas, during my childhood to a wildlife photographer and filmmaker is a tale of passion rediscovered.

My early dreams, fueled by hours spent watching wildlife on Discovery and National Geographic, envisioned a life akin to Steve Irwin's adventurous spirit.

However, life steered me towards a path far away from the untamed wilderness I yearned to explore.

My academic and professional odyssey began with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Symbiosis International University in 2015, an endeavor that seemed to permanently divert my course away from my primal love for wildlife.

During my college years, I found a new passion in Automobile Engineering, particularly after participating in a racing competition where I teamed up with friends to build a racing car.

This experience led me to further exploration in the automotive industry, including training at a Maruti Workshop and doing an R&D Project on automotive brakes with a unit of Bosch.

The Automobile Industry seemed to be a good career option.

But soon after college, I switched fields and ventured into the world of online advertising and marketing, further establishing myself in the digital realm, again, a stark contrast to the natural world I once aspired to be a part of.

It was during this phase that I got a chance to travel to many countries and meet wonderful colleagues from across the globe, who then became great friends, enriching my life and broadening my perspective on the global tapestry of cultures and ideas.

Then, in 2019, I decided to quit my job in programmatic advertising which marked the beginning of a transformative chapter.

Returning to my hometown, the subsequent global lockdown rekindled my dormant fascination with nature.

The urban jungles of Jabalpur became my sanctuary, where I found solace and inspiration amidst the trees and wildlife that surrounded me.

Immersing myself in the forests, I began documenting the nuanced lives of its inhabitants, a pursuit that eventually started to alter my understanding of the world.

The countless hours spent in observation and documentation were not just merely acts of artistic expression but also an introspective journey.

This reconnection with nature did not just revive a childhood dream, it instilled in me a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment.
